JoAnn has been selling iris rhizomes from her Eagle Idaho garden for more than 20 years. Every year she adds a few more varieties and her collection is extensive.
Stop in and tour the garden in May or June, that’s when most of the iris are blooming. Be aware that the weather, hot or cold, rain or snow can alter the dates for bloom time.
Bring a lunch and sit and enjoy the iris along with the clematis, lupines and hundreds of brilliantly colored iris.
Iris are easy to grow and they don’t mind the Idaho heat and lack of humidity, plus they require little water or fertilizing. What could be better?
