Adaptable to many soil types (clay, loam or sandy), this showy shrub has large white flowers, and the silky pinkish-purple plumes are attached to seeds. The flowers provide food for native and honey bees and bumble bees. Provides winter interest . This shrub grows in a cascading mound shape and does not need pruning. Drought tolerant.
