Most varieties are very tall and attractive in the garden and the flowers draw many different pollinators, in particular, loved by butterflies.
There are also dwarf varieties available. This plant needs to be in moist soil. So if you want Joe Pye in your garden, find the spot that gets a lot of moisture.
